MY GATE FOUND ITS FLOW:How my high school track experience is like my life
I was fast. โ โ I am still pretty fast. โ โ I ran track in high school as a sprinter- the 100m and 100m hurdles. (I hated practicing, which mirrors my work ethic on most things at that time in my life, but I digress.)โ โ

The gun would go off and I would just go.โ โ I wasnโt always the first one out of the blocks. โ โ I wasnโt the first one for the first 50 yards.โ โ
Then ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด would happen. โ โ
My gate ๐ง๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ตโ๐ด ๐ง๐ญ๐ฐ๐ธ.โ โ It became wider, rhythmic, graceful. And FAST. I would feel something happen inside of me beyond just what my body was doing. โ โ In the last 50 yards I would inch forward past my competitors and ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, most often first. โ โ
My running experience is like my life.
I had natural talent, but I didnโt all โclickโ for me until later. โ โ
I may not be first out of the gate, but I will push until I finish my strongest.โ โ
I will never back down on my race to the finish line. โ โ
And I know so many of you are ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐.โ โ
โฅ๏ธMaybe you're just finding your groove, doing the thing you're passionate about
โฅ๏ธMaybe you're just starting to listen to your inner voice that's called you to more โ โ
โฅ๏ธMaybe you've been serving others and you're starting to build something for yourself, too โ โ โฅ๏ธMaybe felt behind for years but you're starting to find your gate and grace
And here we ALL are, united, ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ป towards the finish line of our life. Because we've found our gate. We know our grace. And we are ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐.โ
